Intro to Judaism
Tuesday evenings at 5:45 PM, 10 weeks beginning February 14
Learn to Read Hebrew, Review Jewish Practices, History: The popular 12 week Introduction to Judaism class, offered by Rabbi Leigh Lerner and Rabbi Julia Appel, which teaches the reading of Hebrew and explains Jewish holidays, life cycle, and traditional history, starts its spring series on February 14. It is required for those converting to Judaism or for those entering an interfaith marriage under Temple's auspices. Those who simply wish to learn to read Hebrew may attend the first fifteen minutes of each Tuesday's session for 10 weeks. Cost for up to two people per family: $50 Hebrew only; $200 complete course; $250 non-members, includes course fee, books and a Shabbat dinner for every individual/couple.
