Adult Education

Adult Education at Temple

Jewish education is a life-long endeavour that is highly encouraged at Temple.  Weekly sermons, Torah study classes and discussion groups offer meaningful opportunities for adults to enhance their knowledge of Judaism and Jewish values. Temple also regularly hosts a variety of enlightening guest speakers, lecture series, films and musical productions.  Many of our programs are open not only to our members, but also to the community at large.  Watch our bulletin, website and Facebook page for detailed information about our exciting upcoming programs!

Introduction to Judaism

This popular 12-week course, taught by Rabbi Lerner, offers adults the opportunity to learn to read Hebrew, as well as to understand the meaning behind the Jewish holidays, traditions, life cycle events and history. The course is required for those converting to Judaism or entering a mixed marriage at Temple, but anyone who would like to expand their knowledge of Judaism is welcome to register.
