Celebrate Hanukkah with the Reform Movement as we bring more light into the world through inspiring music, stories, and teachings. Musicians like Grammy Award winner and Camp Coleman/NFTY STR songleader Joanie Leeds, members of the American Conference of Cantors, plus, storytellers like Rena Strober, children from Leo Baeck Education Center in Haifa, art from Doodly Jew, and more!
Monday November 29th
5:00 PM: Annual Chanukah Menorah Lighting with the City of Westmount
Bundle up and join us on the lawn in front of City Hall for festive story-telling, lighting the candles, singing, and refreshments (laktes and sufganiot)

7:00 PM: 2021 AGM Meeting
Attendance is open to all members in good standing. Registrants in good standing will receive a confirmation letter with a Zoom link and applicable reports prior to the meeting. (Spoiler: we will also be sharing some festive Chanukah music at the meeting!)

Judy Batalion is the author of the instant New York Times bestsellers, The Light of Days: The Untold Story of Women Resistance Fighters in Hitler’s Ghettos, and White Walls: A Memoir About Motherhood, Daughterhood, and the Mess in Between. She has written for publications including the New York Times, Vogue, and the Washington Post. Born and raised in Montreal, she is fluent in both Hebrew and Yiddish, and now lives in New York.

The Israel Movement for Reform and Progressive Judaism invites you to join in (online) for a live Chanukah candle lighting event at the Egalitarian Kotel. This special evening will light up the Kotel with festive brachot and songsand greetings that will reflect on the significance and centrality of the Kotel to Jews of all streams in Israel and around the world.

The month of December is a time of celebration in different faith traditions. In partnership with St. James United Church, join us as we come together and renew our connections and celebrate our community of friends with music from Jewish, Christian and Muslim traditions.
