Let’s celebrate Rabbi Lisa Grushcow
as our spiritual leader!

A Rhodes Scholar and a Wexner Graduate Fellow, Rabbi Lisa Grushcow became the Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom seven years ago. On Thursday, June 13 we will be celebrating the energy and vitality she brings to our congregation. Temple members benefit from her spiritual guidance, her keen intellect as well as her compassion and humanity. She has also helped build on the synagogue’s proud tradition of promoting interfaith dialogue and outreach to the broader community. Under her leadership Temple has, for example, explored the challenges facing Canada’s indigenous peoples, sponsored two Syrian refugee families and raised our voices in support of religious freedoms.

We hope you will join us to honour Rabbi Lisa Grushcow, a remarkable teacher, parent and role model.
