ATTENTION: While our building is closed until further notice in order to comply with recent orders by the Québec government, Temple is carrying on many activities remotely. For more information on Temple’s remote activities, click here. We hope that all Temple members stay safe and connected with Temple.
Shabbat services (both Friday evenings at 7:45, and Saturday mornings at 10:15) will be available by Zoom only. Clicking Here will connect you to the services and give you access to an online prayer book. We will be offering as many opportunities as possible to learn with us remotely. Please connect with us on Facebook, read your emails and check Temple’s website for updates. Click here for some Zoom tutorials.
Temple’s office will remain closed while most of our professional team works remotely. Our rabbis will be available for meetings and pastoral support by phone, and we have a team of volunteers calling our members to check in and offer help (if you want to volunteer, let Rabbi Grushcow or Rabbi Greenspan know). We are here for you.
In the biblical book of Ecclesiastes we read: “There is a time for everything under the sun… a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.” It can be hard to accept that the most important and helpful thing we can do at this time is stay home. But we are doing so to save lives and take care of one another, in keeping with our tradition and values.
Stay safe, and stay connected.
